What I'd Wear Wednesday: One. Bag.
What I'd wear today if I could: this fun tote from Boston Proper. I love my small handbags, but lately I find I am carrying around not only my purse but also a bag full of Fly's stuff. I am all for the cute Skip*Hop Pronto (we have, use and love a knockoff -- a Jump*Tumble?), but in addition to basic diapering, I carry a drink, a container of snacks, a toy or two and sometimes a rain jacket. I'm thinking about something that also holds my stuff so I have one less bag to carry. Some days, I feel like a porter. A porter who never gets tipped. Or maybe a pack mule.What do you usually carry with you? How do you manage taking your bag and your children's stuff when you leave the house?

I try and keep it all in the car. I have extra diapers and wipes stashed in the car and when we go to a place where I know that we will be there awhile I will pack a backpack with appropriate stuff. I even keep a bag with park stuff in the back of the car for those impromptu park visits. I just hate carrying stuff around. I don't even use a purse for myself, so why should I carry all my toddler's junk around?
I just upgraded to a large bag (the SAK Ashbury and I love it!) but this bag is LOVE LOVE LOVE! : )

I need a bigger bag...I'm always lugging around so much. I do keep a bag in the car full of stuff for the kids, but it often ends up on my shoulder too.
I am the most unprepared mother ever! And I think it's b/c I just carry a little purse around. I need a big pack mule bag! I love the one you chose!
We finally got down to carrying the tiniest little cooler that held two milk cups, a snack, and had a little zipper compartment to keep a smooshed package of wipes...And then came baby #2. Back to a big diaper bag.
I'm thoroughly enjoying my Foogo diaper bags. I have the small one and a larger one. They are lightweight.
I bought a mini hobo from Kohl's to carry just my keys, cell, wallet. But I usually stuff it into a tote bag with all my other crap that I carry around.
My husband's daily question: Why do we have 5 diaper bags? (And why are they always strewn about the house?)
Because I want to carry a bag that is the right size for what I need to take.
(And don't get him started on why I have several baby slings.)

A plain old Jansport backpack with two mesh cup holders on the side. It may not be stylish, but it's cute (lavendar and grey), and it beats any diaper bag I've had even on the worst day. I LOVE my backpack! And I'm packing for 2!
