In preparation for tomorrow's ultrasound . . . .
"Fly, do you know we're going to see the baby tomorrow?"
"A baby!"
"That's right!"
"An animal!"
"No, it's not an animal."
"A monkey! Ooo-ooo-ah-ah."
"No, it's a human baby . . . your . . . it's one of us . . . a baby baby."
"Ooo-ooo-ah-ah!"
"Fly, do you know we're going to see the baby tomorrow?"
"A baby!"
"That's right!"

Some days I think my older kids would have prefered a monkey to the little sister that I gave them.

At our last ultrasound our son kept pointing at the screen calling the baby a bird..."bird mama bird" Ok buddy!
