Blog party: Wardrobe Wednesday, party edition!

What I'd wear today if could: this dress from Boston Proper. I love dressing up for parties. (Heck, it's a good day if I wear anything that remotely matches these days!) It's got a cool black-and-white print, it's shapely, it's got a flowy skirt -- what's not to love?

So this is what I'd wear to this fun blog party we're having. What are you wearing today?

Love the dress.

I'm wearing a 70's dress with ultra high heels. Got a big meeting to go to. I'm almost guaraunteed to fall flat on my face at one point.

Today I'd love to be wearing anything from J. Jill and my kids would be dressed head to toe in Mini Boden... ah, you can dream...

Hmmm ... I might have to go check out the catalog sight (and lose about 10 pounds)!

I wish I was as dark as the woman in the picture, I'm so pale going without hose looks scary. But I love dressing up too--right now wearing an Anne Taylor cardigan with Banana Republic t-shirt (hand me down from my teenage sister and rather old) and Gap charcoal wool trousers. But I'm supposed to go swimming with Lillian and just dreading changing into my bathing suit.

It looked great by the 40 watt light in my room...alas, my pants are wrinkled cords in a mauve color, my belt is fuschia and threadbare, my sweater is off white, while the tank beneath is pure white making the sweater look dingy at best. My socks are olive and my boots were forest green. My hair is frizzy, and oh yeah, my face is cracking it's so dry yet I have awful, angry blemishes. I feel like the pan that cooked Sunday breakfast...after four days baking under the sun in the kitchen sink.

The dress is fab!

That is totally a cute dress!

I am embarrassed to admit I am the total cliche of the stay at home mom (Nine Months Pregnant mind you!) ... Big Baggy T and Sweat Pants ... sad but so so so comfortable!
