Things I never thought I'd say

Fly, where did you get that little piece of wallpaper?

Gah! Stop playing in the toilet!

I can't put your diaper on with your butt up in the air like that.

You just bit a chunk out of your potty seat!

The cat doesn't like it when you pour things on her.

We can't play with this really noisy toy right now because it's sleeping.

And finally . . . .

What did I come into this room for?

So funny! I might add...
* Do you need to hold my hand while you go poop?
* Is that [paper/part of your book/etc.] in your mouth?
* Spit it out into mama's hand.

haha...SOOOO true! I could add a dozen more weird things I've said since Tate was born too...ha! But that last one...yeah, I think I do that at LEAST once a day - usually more!

Fly is *not* potty training right now, but we have a potty for him to get him comfortable sitting on it.

Actually it's potty #2 because the first one, yes, has a foam seat that he likes to eat.

That is hilarious. Leave it to you to give me a good laugh out loud chuckle. Now you know you must keep all these things together and write a book one day.

"Stop playing in the toilet!" has been one of our favorites around here lately and if I didn't ask myself "What did I come in this room for?" so often maybe I would remember to keep the toilet seat down! The joys of Motherhood! LOL!

Oh yes, there are many things I have found myself saying that I never thought I would...like, "We don't put toys in our sister's pants". Silly things like that!
My favorite was when I had a potty training 2 year old, a 6 month old in the sling and we were at TJ MAXX (true story here) and he had to pee. So, I took him to the bathroom, stood there (with the baby practically falling out of the sling) holding him up to pee just for him to say, I don't have to go any more. Oh yeah, and it was in December, we were all sorts of bundled up. So, as soon as we leave the bathroom and go to the car, he pees. So, I then said, "Remember, we potty on the toilet, not in our car seats!".
The joys of Motherhood huh?

I completely understand. My daily conversations of "Don't chew on the dog toys", "We don't eat dog food", "what did you just put in your mouth", are getting quite odd. I did stop by for the TJ Maxx giveaway but I will come back.

Oh my word! I have said some of those things, but taking a bite out of the potty seat? That beats any of my kids' things! LOL And I have some pretty amazing stories to tell about my kids, like stuffing poop in my Kirby vaccuum attachments or putting poop statuettes on my stairs for decoration.
Awesome!
Maybe I should regift the gift card to TJ Maxx back to you so you can get a new potty seat, lol.
