What I'd Wear Wednesday: Feminine

What I'd wear today if I could: a floaty, filmy, sheer chiffon shirt sort of like this one from Forever 21.

Sigh. Something is happening in the wardrobe of my mind. It's getting really girly! I keep seeing these super-feminine button-front shirts in sheer fabrics -- usually pink -- almost in a 1940s style. Sometimes the shirt is in more vibrant colors and patterns, but it's always this basic style, more or less.

I'd wear a shirt like this with jeans (or a cute pencil skirt, if there was an occasion). And a cool necklace, which Fly would undoubtedly play with mercilessly.

Maybe this is all just a sign of spring....

It's very pretty. Makes my jeans and black turtleneck sweater look very blah, today. It is January in Canada, however.

Will have to make a mental note to buy more pretty things in the spring.

What a cute blouse! I've enjoyed reading a few of your blog posts - very witty. And about the staying home with your child, well, we all get in grumpy moods occasionally. Keeps us human, right? Thanks for the TJ Maxx giveaway, very generous.

This is cute but I couldn't even get my right boob in that tiny thing. I bet TJ Maxx has a bigger one to fit me. :)

It's a very nice shirt though, and there's nothing wrong w/ girly colors/clothing! :) Femininity is a good thing. Besides, doesn't it make you feel younger?? ;)

I love the style of that blouse but I think I like the color even more. I wonder if they would have something in that exact color at TJMaxx ...hmmm maybe?

I'd wear that same shirt too, if I could get one with TJ Maxx credit, hint hint.

BTW I applaud your promotion of breastfeeding on your "Facebook Sucks" button. Normalization of breastfeeding is a good thing!
