What I'd Wear Wednesday: Brave soles
What I'd wear today if I could: I'm not sure.
(But it sure ain't my old shorts. In case you were wondering, even though I don't wear them, for some strange reason I can't throw them out or give them away. It might have something to do with how I think they're lucky because I found a $5 bill in one of the pockets when I picked them up at the consignment store, oh, let's see, 17 years ago.
OK, that's it. They're going.
Anyway.)
I found these shoes in a roundabout way and can't tell if I love them or think they are the best footwear joke I have ever seen.
They're made by a UK company called Irregular Choice. I think they would be great fun if I were going to a party where nobody knew me and had a cute little simple dress to wear with them. Outside of that situation, though, I think I would be laughed, pointed and whispered at.
Irregular Choice makes lots of "fun" shoes, like these:
But I am in no way advocating the use of large pink polka dots by anyone over the age of 11.
So, I guess I'm after a fun shoe, but am just not brave enough to wear the likes of these.
Do you have a pair of outrageous shoes? Is there anything you're not brave enough to wear?

ok so the first pair is a little silly for me.
but not gonna lie, i kinda like the polka dots :)
really.
I *LOVE* shoes...especially point toe ones :~)
I actually LOVE that first pair...
I'm definitely in for the first pair. On less brave days, I might wear them with long dark blue jean trouser style pants and a rocking top.
Wow! I, so totally, have no fashion sense.
Although I think they're kinda cute, that first pair makes my feet hurt just thinking about putting them on. And the second pair. Meh, can't hate 'em, can't love 'em.
I can't bring myself to wear metallic shoes although they seem to be in this summer. Just feels like I'm trying to hard.
I think I'd wear almost anything but around here it's barefoot in the house and we never actually walk than two or three steps outside!
Cheers
Those are both a bit out there for me...Most days, I'm in running shoes. If I'm dressing up, I love me some black patent high heels:)
I can set you up with the drop cap if you want it...not hard, let me know:)
In another life that I'm not comfortable talking about in the comment box, I once wore a pair of black 5-6 inch heels. Well, I wore them more than once. But that's all I'm saying. They were outrageous and not in a good way.
I don't believe I would wear those. I would love to be the type that would wear something that wild.
Nope, I just wouldn't wear those. A little too "out there" for me. I like "statement" shoes, but usually ones that are a little more within the confines of the status quo.
I think I am sticking with my Wal-Mart flip-flips ... I go for comfort :)
I wear my keens day in and day out ... I am so boring!
