Going swimmingly
Week two (or is it three?) of watching my friend's son a couple days a week while she returns to school, and things are going well.
(Yes, those are just swim diapers. And a $6 kiddie pool the boys had been jumping in and out of -- thus the leaves. I run a very classy daycare.)
(But you have to realize it was so hot that I would have been running around in my undies too if I could have. There are laws against that, though....)

Awwww, too cute! We used to sometimes stick the girls in a plastic cooler filled with water to "swim". Yours is a waaaay classier pool!
When I was a kid, sprinklers were a huge hit. My kids still think they are. Fun times.
I once put about a centimeter of water in our kiddie pool and M had a blast with just that. I think she was about 2 1/2.
Ha ha! That looks like a blast. Summer's so much fun when you're a kiddo splashing through the water.
We totally have a classy play area like that and love it! Cute video.
I love that the other kid is drinking that water the whole time. Hilarious!
We have been soo lazy about playing in the pool this summer. I think it is the mosquito's fault.
It's the simple things. Who needs a big pool with all those chemicals to keep track off, extra opening and closing costs....my parents have a pool and my dad calls it the black hole for his money. Give me a cheap plastic pool or sprinkler any day!
Isabella is a big fan of the baby pool too. We have a small in-ground pool in our backyard, but she far prefers the little one.
Looks like they're having a blast!
My kids ALWAYS drink the water. In the bathtub, too. I'm often heard yelling "don't drink the bum water!!!!!"
I won't even TELL you the "yuckies" I've found my girls drinking out of...shudder.
simply adorable :)
Looks like fun to me! :)
I tagged you on my blog! Click here
I take comfort over classy any day - especially where kids are concerned! Looks like fun!
awww so much fun!
Oh the heat...I hear you on that one!
I totally saw that gulping pool water thing coming~ nothing like a little icky toddler pool water to quench that summer thirst*!*
yum
